Christmas is here!

If one believes historians and other researchers, archaeologists and anthropologists (why not?) Jesus Christ would not have been born on December 24 on year 0 at midnight, but six years earlier, on February 28 -0006. To celebrate on Christmas day the birth of Christ thus becomes a ritual more symbolic than commemorative. It is perhaps one of the reasons why Christmas became a big business rather than a time of enlightened rejoicing in the spirit of the Son of God… The presents brought by three wise men (who were astrologers by the way) to the child Jesus were meant to bring people and nations closer in a surge of generosity and devotion to the almighty Son of God who had just incarnated to save the world. A beautiful story indeed…
It is said that the three wise men were guided by a cosmic formation or planetary alignment. Observing the chart of Christ above, drawn according to the deductions of the historians, we note indeed an important planetary cluster in Pisces (the solar sign of this mythical character who marked the beginning of the Piscean Age). Venus was the dominating planet because of its brightness, but it was so near to the Sun that it may not have been possible to see it, except perhaps just after sunset. Between the Sun and Venus, we find Saturn and, on the other side, Jupiter conjunct Uranus, not far from the Moon and Mercury in Aquarius.
Such exceptional planetary congregation must have been very visible in the skies of those times, much less polluted by city lights or the greenhouse effect that we deplore today. The fact that it is opposed to Pluto and Mars indeed announces for the newborn a destiny filled with “mystery” and danger (Pluto) and marked by armed reprisals (Mars) as well as violent death (Mars/Pluto). The trine with Neptune confirms the child’s strong spiritual tendency, more so because this planet is at the zenith of the chart, thus dominating it as much as all the elements in Pisces, a sign which Neptune rules. If the three wise men based their theory on the presence of Neptune, we can understand that they took this sighting for an exceptional sign since Neptune was officially discovered only eighteen centuries later…
According to the statements of the “scholars”, Jesus would not have been born at midnight, but at 3:34am local time. That’s very precise! I wonder if this time of birth was not worked out by astrologers to place Neptune at the zenith of the chart and thus give it that much more value… If I had to analyze such a chart today, I would certainly not deduce from it that its owner was the son of God, nor that he had a gift to bring people together, to save the world or even to make miracles! What then? Well, as far as I am concerned, the mystery remains…
Now let us see what today’s chart has to offer for the next couple of days or so…
The Moon will remain in Sagittarius from midday today until Friday evening. It is at this time that it will join successively with Mars, Lilith, Pluto and the Sun in Capricorn, boosting up a planetary alignment that will probably result in strong reaction around the world. I will write about it on Friday…
Over the next few days, the Moon’s energy will not be that powerful. The symbolism of Sagittarius will call on our spirit for more generosity and universal love. The natives of this sign, like those of Aquarius, Aries, Leo and Libra will primarily benefit from this transit. For them, Christmas should be one pleasant moment. But if there were only the Moon to manage it all, it would be too easy! Each chart is different and many configurations can completely change the prognostic, even if the Moon temporarily bestows positive energy.
It is what Pisceans will surely feel, because of the presence of Uranus in their sign, opposed to Saturn in Virgo, whose natives are also likely to live strong emotional moments during the next couple of days.
Geminis will be disturbed by the opposition of the Moon which will make them more sensitive, more emotional and less serene. Physiological disorders are not impossible because the Moon represents the stomach and the primary digestive system. Gemini, Pisces, Virgo and Sagittarius will thus have to avoid excess of good food and alcohol, or face unpleasant physiological reactions!
The natives of Capricorn, particularly marked by the presence of Pluto in their sign since November 27, may have to accept the “end of an important cycle”, whether they want it or not. The energy of Pluto will become much more virulent when Mars joins with it on December 27, day of the Full Moon in Capricorn. That chart will be very interesting to analyze indeed! I will make a point to analyse it for you on Friday.
Meanwhile, I wish you a very Merry Christmas, with many gifts from those you love and other marks of affection. Oddly, I still note this year that people sometimes spend small fortunes for gifts that often finish in a cupboard (or in a second-hand shop) whereas they hesitate to offer an astrological analysis, that would mean much and would be much longer appreciated. Let us avoid making Christmas a competition of which the winners, although they may have heavily indebted themselves to buy the most beautiful gifts, are not necessarily the best remembered…
