The New moon of August 29, 2011

In the preceding article (which you can read again on my blog http://astrororo.blogspot.com) I evoked the probable weather disturbances during the transit of Mars in Cancer, in the countries represented by this sign and the three other signs mentioned. The USA belongs to Cancer and we learn that the hurricane Irene is very threatening today, August 27, to the East coast of the United States. The people of New York and Washington prepare for the worse.

The New moon of August 29 could thus become a kind of catalyst by accentuating the intensity of this monster measuring around 800 kilometres in diameter, and which progresses slowly towards Canada…

The New moon will occur in Virgo, in the first decan of the sign, thus affecting more particularly the natives of this sector of the zodiac. It will take place with Venus in conjunction, opposed to Chiron and Neptune, and trine Jupiter in Taurus and Pluto in Capricorn.

If Neptune represents the sea and storms which agitate oceans at times, the opposition of the New Moon could indicate a recrudescence of energy, major floods, important property damages due to overly strong winds, and some victims.

However, Jupiter is protective in this chart, and Pluto indicates a potential calming down of the force of nature. It is thus probable that the energy of this storm, although very impressive, will not be accentuated too far beyond “reasonable limits”. Judging by the beneficial effect of the aspects implying Jupiter and Pluto, there should be more for fear than evil. And it is just as well, isn’t it?

Regarding the natives of Virgo and Pisces, especially those of the first decan, it is probable that an element of confusion (Neptune) and illness (Chiron) will be noticed in private relationships. They however will be favoured in their dealings in their social and/or professional environment. They will also need to look further into some strong feelings they may have and question their love life to support the evolution they want to achieve. Jupiter should help them succeed without too much effort, in the areas where human contacts, travel and foreign countries are priorities. Pluto indicates a favourable period for transformation, or even transmutation, to a point from which they will emerge as if living a kind of rebirth. If they manage the situations with objectivity to dissipate the confusion which reigns deep down, their sincerity will be rewarded. If not, they will turn around and around, feeling favoured and unfavoured, and unable to explain their confusion. The Full moon of September 12 could be very decisive, because it will occur on the Virgo/Pisces axis, reinforcing the influence, somewhat troublesome, of Neptune. A decisive step could then be taken to free positive energy and move forward in their life.

Meanwhile, the natives of Taurus, Scorpio and Capricorn, will be favoured, whatever their situation or the environment in which they evolve during this lunation. Their creativity and their love of the good things of life should enable them to rejoice on many occasions. Thanks to some unexpected opportunities, they will benefit from a helping hand if needed to reach the goals they’ve set for themselves. It seems that Jupiter concerns mainly those born early in May, but the whole of the sign should be rather favoured nevertheless. Pluto will act on the regeneration level, in areas where the need to rebuild is strong, especially to the social aspects of their life. They will have what it takes to get involved in this rebirth process which will enable them to set out again on new bases, perhaps before the next New Moon, on September 27, or even around the Full moon of September 12…

Leos and Aquarians won’t feel quite as well as the previous signs mentioned above. Mercury in Leo is square Jupiter and opposite Vesta. Communication may become a source of misunderstanding, worry or upsets. Personal or social relationships may become destabilising and troublesome, which will make life unnerving at times. They may have to deal with a lack of sincerity on their part or someone else’s, and that may affect their image de marque. They will not be very determined or motivated to make a move to improve their situation. Jupiter in Taurus also indicates that a problem at work may increase and become a real source of concern. Their health will also be at stake, especially for those older elements of both these two opposite signs. A tendency to exaggerate will aggravate otherwise trivial maters, making a mountain out of mow hill, for no objective reason…

The natives of Cancer will continue to bear the detrimental energy of Mars in their sign until September 19. They will have to keep on making the necessary effort to remain prudent and patient, in order to avoid errors, conflicts and other mishaps. They will not be in harmonious relationship with some Libras who may seek to impose their own view on them despite the fact that they may be wrong. A Capricorn person could also become the centre of a conflict because of their apparent determination to overpass their Cancer friend or relative.

Libras and Aries will be more reactive, even impulsive or aggressive. Their combative side could prove troublesome especially where private relationships are concerned; but there may also be some conflicts in their social life, due to lack of patience on their side. They will not bear to receive orders, advice or reproaches. A family incident is also possible, together with various questions that will need to be answered to restore unity and harmony at home. They will need to put their communication ability to good use. Creativity will also be a source of satisfaction, intellectually, artistically or sentimentally…

Natives of Gemini and Sagittarius will find it difficult to deal with family and work issues simultaneously. Feelings and emotions will tend to get mixed up, enhancing the risk of errors and confusion in their love-life. They will need to make an effort to remain rational and objective in all situations. Some of their fantasies may create misunderstandings, especially if they have to share their own ideas or beliefs with people they don’t know so well. Any personal matter will have to be dealt with a clear vision and objective mind. Inquisitiveness will be put to good use if they are the object of their own investigation. Such an attitude will help them get a better picture of what they really are, in order to become what they really want…
